Only David Lee, Wilson Chandler, Danilo Gallinari, and Landry Fields, and Rod Strickland have averaged 10 or more ppg for their careers. None have a double digit rebound average, although David Lee is close at 9.6. The players that they have passed up in the last few years is almost mind boggling. Fredric Weis over Ron Artest. Renaldo Balkman over Rajon Rondo. Channing Frye over Andrew Bynum. Jordan Hill over Brandon Jennings, Ty Lawson, or really anybody else. They even came out of the 1996 draft, arguably the best draft EVER, in which they had 3 first round picks, with 0 impact players. They took John Wallace, Walter McCarty and Dontae&#39; Jones. Who else was in this draft? Nobody really. Just Marcus Camby, Ray Allen, Stephon Marbury, Kobe Bryant, Antoine Walker, Peja Stojakovic, Erick Dampier, Steve Nash, Jermaine O&#39;Neal, and Zydrunas Ilgauskas. The game cw had against the spurs melo puts up games like that on the regular.the knicks need a big man that can play great d grab boards, a smart back up point and melo. that would put them over the top.
