Definitely agree. Anyone who has been watching the last few games especially can see how the Knicks need someone to take that pressure off of Amar'e. Felton is regressing since his hot start (shooting just 39.6% from the field and 32.7% from 3 since Dec. 1st), and adding another scorer like Melo takes pressure off him as well.

This is the bottom line to me... who on the team outside of Amare is as skilled as Melo. Nobody. Now instead of 1 highly skilled player in the starting line up you have 2. They dont play the same position so it is going to be an upgrade no matter what. there is no reason for the knicks not to do this.

I don't know if I agree with your line of reasoning (that Carmelo makes people better) but you agree with my overall point so I'll take it. Carmelo is neither a good passer or a good defender, he doesn't really make his teammates better, but he is a top 5 individual talent in the league and scores about as easily as anyone in the NBA.

I agree we should get Carmelo, he makes everyone better. He can take a team with slightly above average talent to the conference finals. You don't win in this league without a top 5 or 6 talent and we don't have that anyway you want to slice it.
